Buskers, Street Entertainers
- Alan the tramp (aparently gone now), John the Treeman - a good bloke who knows a hell of a lot about trees and shrooms lol. There used to be many, I don't know of any of the newer lot of weirdo's.
- Lobby Ladd

- There is one guy, that everyone in horsham knows about, and therefore he gets no sympathy. He's a bit of a loon and goes round scrounging off ppl all day even though legend has it his dad gives him a large allowance...which he apparently spends on large amounts of alcohol.
- I saw charlie at 11.30pm last saturday & he was only wearing a pair of shorts, I guess somebody nicked his shoes
- Theres some guy who plays his guitar and sings rather badly opposite ottakarson west street. always a laugh as the people cringe by or run into our shop 2 escape. I would ask he keep it down on my lunch break because i cant hear the dambed radio!
- local loony charlie who willl ask you for money for the phone box
- Theres some strange pikey that wonders around town on his own with dyed red-ish hair and cheap (usually blue) track suit bottoms, mubbling asking people for 20p, god dam it! Iv seen him withdraw like £100 from the bank, also check out his trainsrs, oh your really poor mate. Save your change for the real hobos not this wanabe.
- Jack Daniels. So named after he was found in Piries Place, collapsed in the monument of the horse and cart, with a bottle of JD.
- some tramp looked at me funny once under the underpass by boots, but they've concreted that up now so he's prob stuck in there
- theres normally sum dude who moves around and plays guitar.
- Jim duggen - peace party - cannabis guru and former manager of THE cavern club in liverpool i believe? used to live where the new bus station is now sitting, and pump alley?
- There was a mad old nutter who used to wonder up and down the A24 picking up road kill and sticks but I think she got hit by a truck a few years back.
- There is a weirdo with a funny quif who likes pretending his name is Batman. He drinketh heavily of ale and lies to women, telling them he is a dolphin trainer. I think his name is Baz. There is another called Gib, who spends all his time approaching strangers in pubs and giving them unusual names.
- What happened to Charlie, the fag scrounging Hobbes?
- Me. I'm a right tw*t.
- big boy rick lee well known with all the boys in town, including jeremy
- ther5e are none its shit
- theres some bloke who plays the violin with a dancing devil attached to his leg you can catch in west street most weekends.
- We used to have an old Evening Argus street seller who would stand in the Carfax shouting evening argus. Reg i think his name was.
- That guy that makes wire photo frames, hes great isnt he
- Used to be a semi-tramp with shiny shoes selling the evening argus, people my age (29) will know him. Nevenin Argoos. Think he must be dead now.
- Every time i see Charlie, he's asking for more money each time. His price increases are way above the rate of inflation
- Weirdo Christians ranting outside Swan Walk - apparently it's illegal to hit them!
- Shot on sight in horsham.
- seen a couple of flautsists, guitarists, etc. Bandstand sometimes used
- My mates Chris and Rob the Big Issue sellers!
- We have one care in the community, he keeps asking me for change the psycho
- The bloke that sells the big issue seems to be permanantly stoned now
- Street entertainers are not encouraged in Horsham. Too exciting for the locals.
- Chris and Rob our resident Big Issue sellers. Steve does a bit with his didge now and then
- The best big issue seller is Chris at the Boots end of Swan Walk. There is also another nice vendor at the other end by Monsoon.
- There is a bunch of chaps with pan-pipes, but for a town with two band stands there is little entertaining on the streets.
- LOts of people selling Big Issue to the guilt ridden middle classes.
