Arts, crafts and such

• There is some graffiti on the flower shop wall that's canny good....
• Just Sew is a curtain and soft furnishings manufacturer based in Unit A6, Hougnton Enterprise Centre, lake road. We offer a full service, measuring, make up and fitting service.We supply fabric, curtain tracks and Curtain poles. alongside making curtains we also have an online website supplying curtain poles all over the Uk. from all major manufacturers and designers.
• KEPIER HALL FAYRE
• well the graffiti on the walls of the doctors surgery at herrington burn is just lovely
• No art galleries but the park where every climbing frame itself is an art gallery or just another version of the Houghton Star newspaper. Also the side of Brenda's flower shop is becoming quite trendy art exhibit.
• There is grafitti, if the police are reading this I didn't do any of it
• any wall the local artists will soon cheer it up with the stolen spray paints

• sunderland library
• The fantastic new library opens on 1 October with a tremendous range of new books which have been chosen by some of the younger members of the community. We also have a new coffee shop in the library building.
• Nearest thing to an art shop is the glaced cakes in the Bakers
• There are many points of interest arounf Houghton. Starting with the Burns Toilets - oops I mean the bar. Many odd trinkets/customers clutter these walls and fat women line the bar - drinking heavily.
• The Library has a poster of something. But it's going to be pulled down soon.
