Cinemas

• They have a big screen in some pubs that's it
• The nearest cinemas are the new one in Sunderland and UCI Boldon. The Boldon one is better but the bus takes so long to get there that if you haven't got a car you're better off just going to Sunderland, but its like a corridor.
• The nearest cinema has to be warner cinema or Bouldon...you wont fins luxerys such as cinemas in Houghton. The best thing you could ask for is the large "cinema" screen in the Lambton castle.
• got turned into a bingo, then a carpet shop. when it gets broke into, there will be a load of old carpets in peoples gardens in hall lane.
• Non-existent. We have to travel miles and pay a fortune so the Blockbusters video shop is well used although everyone has seen the films before we have.
• Still showing Grease even though its now a snooker hall
• I liked the cinema when I was young but now it's a snooker hall!!!
