- JD fashions is ok, the owners are lovely and you can buy a thong for a pound (you usually find them scatterded in the bushes covered in spunk)

- Mackays do a nice range in hooded evening wear for the kids in Houghton. If you buy more than 2 tops, you can qualify for 4 cans of premium drinking fluid. Usually Jeyes strength.

- The only clothes shops in Houghton are Mackays (for kids clothes and older womens clothes) or JD Fashions (for the latest in charver chic). If you are looking for something to wear, don't come to Houghton.

- In houghton! Well JD fashions always has a variety of charva/whore wear! If you ever wana make a statement with ur clothing this is the place to shop ... the statement bein "im a charva, im easy and my mates have all got the same stuff as me. 9 tops for £10 cant be wrong"

- Mackays gets some good stuff in but you're best waiting for when they have a sale to buy it!!!
