• People slagging us off
• The chav scum. How nasty do you have to be to someone you dont even know? And they only seem to say anything if they are in a group! CHICKENS!!!!!

• all the people that say people have done sumit even though they didnt do it and the grassers
• It's the coldest place on earth. No really! In Houghton (AKA 'Howton' to the locals) the wind comes in from several directions at once and always blows a) the rain in your face b) your hair aal ower the joint and c) someone else's tab smoke into your face d) litter
• We don't have enough amenities, such as our own swimming pool, a cinema, even a bowling alley or something would be nice. There aren't any cafes or classy establishments where you can meet friends for a coffee. There are no ice rinks anywhere in the area since the Sunderland Crowtree one closed. There are no decent clothes shops, or high street shops of any kind here, we don't even have a McDonalds (not that that would be a good thing cos all the kids would go there for dinner), i'm just saying alomst everywhere has a Maccie D's now and we don't even have one of those! We should be more like Chester le Street, stay traditional looking, but also have trendy bars and a decent nightclub. Still, you can build a really classy place but if the people in there aren't nice, then its a waste of time really isn't it!?

• The worst thing has to be Houghton Feast! it is now tragic! its just an excuse for the charvers in Hetton to come and throw things at the charvers in Houghton...nothing ever happens between them because they are just as scared of each other. They stand around in the walzer pretending its a night club...thats how deluded they are. If they actually got jobs, went to school and stopped getting pregnant then houghton wouldnt be such a strange place to live in. The roasting of the Ox is also pretty stupid, thats just an excuse for the people from Burnside to get fed with a crap little sandwhich (to them a good meal) once a year.

• Houghton has recently undergone a major refurbishment but still lacks a lot of amenities. There is a lot of new housing in the area but places like the Metro Centre get the shopping business and Boldon the cinema business. The nearest swimming pool is Hetton (and its not so good) and there is virtually nothing for kids to do.
• Kappa slappers are still prevalent in the town and trackie tops and bottoms with trainers are like a uniform. Not much to do in the evenings.
• If you want teeth like Jimmy Tarbuck see Jimmy Tang. Hell, Jimmy Crankie could do a better job!
• the kids who hang around the white on a friday night who are bastards and they just annoy everybody
• the worst thing is that people are condemning the hall lane estate as its the people who gets shoved from sunderland and other places on to hall lane estae and they cause the problems and its the likes of the people who have lived on the estate for years whom get the blame

• The A690 dual carriageway which splits the town in two.
• The amount of Kappa Slappers walking about. The fact that new housing estates seem to be popping up everywhere - if this carrys on we'll be connected to Sunderland - god what a horrible thought
