- Natterjacks - really great soups and coffee etc, nice little find (took over from originals) - also does takeaway and orders etc
- Only one cafe worth going to is Highlake cafe (opposite the punchbowl). It's just been taken over again but the owners assure me that they are there for the longrun. They cook nearly all the food themselves and serve real homemade chips and cakes (try the chocolate tiffin and egg custard). The breakfast is huge and I've even seen people booking for their sunday fry up. Local band the Coral even eat there every week.
- cafe opposite the punch bowl that is forever changing its name, another two near Hoylake station, one cheap and nasty, the other not so much. dickinsons in the horn arcade, makes the best tiffin!
- Originals Cafe - Coffee shop selling light snacks near Hoylake station. Also available for Takeaway.
- Lots actually, la bodega, cassidy's, online, etc etc
- A few of these on Market Street but never been in any of them as never felt the need but Wetherspoons is the best for cheap decent food!
- There is Cassidys,the dorfli,hoylake diner,easel and lace.A number of pubs also serve food.
