- Orchestral Manouevres in the Dark were from Meols/Hoylake. Andy McClusky's mother used to do my mother's hair for her in Meols.
- Just outside the petrol station!
- Queens park down the meols end of Hoylake is quite big, quite a lot to do. Grove park, smaller, but still quite popular bacuse its literally across a road from a spar (well its 'the grove stores' now). and i live 30 seconds away.
- There is Ashton Park and Queens park for all the brats to hang out or outside the off licence! lol!
- there is a cyber cafe which is in the community centre and a fee is charged for the amount of time spent on the computers. there are two parks which have swings in and these are called grove park and queens park. grove park has just been refurbished.
