Favourite Building

• the big mill by ethos and visage - dunno why, it's just a cool building. it's in a state but is gonna be turned into offices. and the train station
• I know it's more than one favourite building but...The University of Huddersfield, the Town Hall, the Council Offices, Bus Station...there is so much 60s and 70s architecture and, of course, older architecture that makes Huddersfield what it is.
• The train station.. from the front.. i used to sit with harold out the front many a times waiting for a taxi!

• The train station. It looks like a country house more than a train station. An amazing building. As well as the libabry which is also a great building.
• Storthes hall student campus- it is so much fun

• The no longer in existence George and Dragon Pub, the remnants of which are now buried under Kirklees Housing.

• The Town Hall...nice building inside and out.
• The railway station...true industrial Britain, and the way out of this town.
• The prudential assurance red bricked victorian building on the corner of Ramsden Street-tis very old & represents a break from the standard millstone grit architecture
• Huddersfield Town Library. They have a very nice art gallery upstairs, if you have the time, take a look, who knows you may even enjoy it (and remember to leave a donation:)
• The frontage of Huddersfield Train Station.
• Obviously this has to be the macalpine stadium. We got relegaterd last season but we will go up straight away for sure Come on you blues!!
• st. lukes crazy hospital - one a crazy escaped with a machacete
• Byram Arcade is great if you have a closer look.
• The station & Yorkshire building society
• Canal side east (university IT block).
• The town hall - because whoever designed it was obviously pissed when he did the interior - it's like a TARDIS !
• The Mac (stadium). You either love it or hate it. I love it, just a shame about the team...
• any pub!!
• THE ONE WITH THE LION ON TOP (LION CHAMBERS I THINK, NOT SURPRISINGLY). AS THIS IS THE FIRST THING YOU SEE WHEN YOU EXIT THE TRAIN STATION, HUDDERSFIELD TOWN FC SHOULD HAVE BEEN CALLED THE LIONS (OR CUBS)!
• Train Station.
• Fav building is the spinks nest cos it serves food, beer, has a pool table, looks magnificant and is only a few yards from my house
• Useless building fact - the huge lion on the top of the Lion Chambers in St Georges Square is actually plastic - the stone original was about to fall into the square & so was replaced. Fav building - McAlpine Stadium
• The railway station - a award winner didn't you know!!!!
• Alfred McAlpine Stadium Castle Hill
• Kirklees Media Centre
• LBT - Laurence Batley Theatre
