  • The Sun Pub, great atmosphere, Jamie the landlord is very friendly, chill out for the day and go over to the river
  • Huntingdon has 3 types of pub - Pubs to go to for a fight, pubs to go to to buy/sell drugs, and pubs to go to to buy/sell drugs and then have a fight. AVOID UNDER ALL CIRCUMSTANCES. Go down the offie instead, buy a few 2 litre bottles of White Lightning and sit on Castle Hill and drink then instead. Everyone else does. Some of them will even come up to you and offer to sell you drugs and beat you up, just to re-create that authentic pub feel.
  • The Barley Mow is the place to go
  • The former O'Reillys, now the Samuel Pepys, is quite cool.
  • People here are health conscious and therefore do not frequent such establishments. Visitors do though and they seem to like the Bridge Hotel for a lengthy daytime session.
  • Quite a few pubs, but unless your built like a brick Kazi, steer clear of quite a few of them. Try The Irish pub at the river end of the high street.
  • The "King of the Belgians" 27 Main St. Hartford, Huntingdon. Established in 1541 said to be the prefered ale house of Oliver Cromwell, the cheapest, most friendly pub in the whole of huntingdon. ps. serves the best food too!!
