  • Rex Harrison - Lived on Tarbock Road (plaque on building), Stan Boardman lived on Knowsley Lane, Hibbert (everton FC) lives nr Tarbock Road, The other celebs have been mentioned. We must also not forget the Molyneux / Seel / Harrison / who all may not be as famouse today, but are a big part of Huyton's History

  • Marty Wilde's wife was Joyce Baker before she was married, and she didn't come from Bakers Green, but from the Hag estate, off Seel Road. as a Liverpool fan, i was outraged that someone had the cheek to say that Terry McDermot played for Everton. he came from Kirby, anyway!

  • One of the guys from the 60's group The Swinging Blue Jeans, lived in Kingsway. Rex Harrison lived in Roby Road. Harrold (it won't affect the pound in your pocket) Willson was our MP in the 60's and 70's. Hence Wilson Road.

And who can forget the Duchess of Huyton, Jimmy Rowan, Huyton No1 Queen oh And Space, they are from Huyton and Some of Cast
