Record Shops
- they opened a music zone. either no-one bought anything or it had stuff nicked from it too often - it closed. that's why wh smith closed. don't blame the council because there's too many scallies in huyton.
- There used to be an Our Price in Huyton in the early/mid 90's, But now, as everyone else says there isn't a place where you can buy that album/single you've been waiting for that isn't considered 'popular' music. In other words top 10.
- ASDA Walmart
- There isint A Woolworths or WhSmiths in Huyton anymore, Huyton would have a good music scence but the coucil dosnt encourage people thats why all bands from huyton play in Town (Liverpool) Huyton is a dieing, boring, gettin more ruff by the day place.
- There was a jarg record shop in the village once but it was cack and it closed. Go to Prescot or town
- this is somethin huyton needs, maybe someone could make a killin? the only records youll get is ones bought from people who copy an print em out for about two fifty
- We got most of our guitars and music from Brian Epstien's shop on Church Street in Liverpool City centre.
- Has Huyton ever had any music shops considering its love of music?
- No specialist record shops but plenty of music fans, you can always go to Asda (who built on our kids park, knowsley council don't you just love em) an get bog standard run of the mill charts cd though.
- no wollies or wh smith any more
you can by records in asda
- Websters
- There's nowhere in Huyton to buy records now. Apart from WH Smiths Woolies, there was nowhere when I was younger either. No alternative record shops, no counter culture. Oh, there's a lot of charity shops. They deal in second hand LPs.
