- Erm....wah?
- There's so many good stuff come out of Huyton - the bands, the writers, the actors. It's a pity more can't be done to plough something back into this still fertile land. However, so many schools are closing down, the population is aging, and the younger people are going elsewhere - tyhe place is fast becoming a dormant satelite to it's larger neighbour Liverpool.
- All types of people live here you can buy a house for 500000 or 11000 (in the case of Knowsley Council employees and friends). It's very interesting and not nearly as bad as some would like you to belive.
- Huyton is really gods own Acre. if you knock it we will come back even stronger, Knowsley Council does a good job, but a little more pride from some of the locals will make the difference
- Having grown up in Huyton during the 40's and 50's, and knowing the village as it use to be, I would like to know why they had to demolish the old buildings. Why couldn't they have built around the village and kept it as it should have been kept. I have been to other places were they did this, at least they still have an authentic village not a monstrosity like ours.
- What can I say about Huyton?! The place scared me to death when I first arrived. In the words of Paula Hughes of Sleaford Road, "It's dog rough." I think the residents know that and they are proud of it! The town centre shops were pretty neat.
