Saints ' Peter and Paul School.' by john bridges (Member 10279021) on 16-Oct-2012

Funny how I met a dinner lady in Eastbourne from approx 45 years ago only to be asked if I was still being naughty, 'Yes' I replied..........., (honesty is the best policy.)

Does anyone have names of their teachers and subjects at SS. P. and P. approx 45 years ago?.
The Headmaster at the time was Mr.Axeworthy.

I had a very good friend but we lost touch around 1986 we were both around 16/17. David had a younger brother called Tony and their dad owned/ran a haulage company. Surname was/similar to Beckinsale, but I cannot remember. David if you do manage to read or get this message, I have never forgotten you and have always remembered you as a wonderful friend. It would be great to catch up on the last 30 odd years!

Abbots Yard, Roden Street by Robert (Member 10234142) on 27-Dec-2008
Does anyone remember Abbot's Yard Roden Street? It was demolished in the early 70's along with the rest of that area. It was easy to miss, just a narrow alley between Terry's bookshop and a clothes shop is all you could see from the road. It was a yard with a number of lockups and garages for the shops on Roden street. Does anyone remember any of the businesses that operated in the yard during 195... more >>

Clark's College by Grahame Fullalove (Member 10220825) on 21-Aug-2008
Glancing back through messages posted on this site there have been several refering to Clark's College, which was in Cranbrook Road and closed in 1974.
Former pupils may like to take a look at our new website www.clarkscollege.co.uk to catch up with what has happened since and, maybe, get in touch with old school pals.
