Further to my earlier message about a lost friend in Ilfracombe. Would anybody perhaps be able to post an eye-catching appeal on the promenade in the hope that the lady in question is still around Ilfracombe and may see it. While spending a few days in Ilfracombe and on Sunday 26th August as I was walking along the main Ilfracombe promenade a french lady offered her hands of friendship and said she was so glad to meet me, asked my name which I said was Nigel and she held both my hands but regretfully I did not respond in the manner she deserved and I am so sorry and I know this is a helpless task but I would love to try and make contact in order to make amends but sadly I don't remember her name. She was with a lady friend who told me she was french. I am now back home in Leicester with a broken heart so if anyone might have some information please help. They may not be in Ilfracombe any longer so I know this is difficult.
