- Ilkeston Rec was always a top spot in the sumer, but for those cold rainy avanings it was victoriapark with its post bandstand!!
- Rec- The only place in town other than the subway.
- The place we used to hang out before pub days was ilkeston reck with our cans of lager purchsed from the famous wine barrel shop that would serve anyone!!!
