Pubs
- There are two pubs in Insch, but we won't mention the other one these days. The place to go is Carriages by the Railway Station. There is the Golf club too but they are always watching Sport! on the telly, very annoying.

- Station for the 1940's feel of a rural grotty pub with sticky carpets, yellow white bits (smoke stains) and staff who have far better things to do (like watching the racing) than be inconvenienced by a rare customer.
Carriages (nee the Station) for an inbetween sort of place trying to be all things to all people but not satisfying any.
Then the Hunters Moon (nee (and still is) the Premnay)). Getting close to a civilised pub but often ruined by over-loud, too frequent musical events. Too many guffs and central-belters though.
- no fresh faces in this place.all the kids go eleswhere due to the unfriendly....."clookie,stuck up manner of most insch residents" both pubs good for a easy fight due to the locals having no sense of humour!
