Pubs
- Sally is the best pub I reckon, worked there when I was just a youngster and
Gordon and Linda were the best bosses ever. No longer live in Bervie and would luv to go back.
- Try the Queens now - under new ownership and A LOT better....
- The sally must be ranked one of the best in bervie, gordon is okay, his bark is a lot worse than his bite.
- . . . . aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh the sally! How is Gordon?
- BEST BEER IN THE VILLAGE ASK ANY REGULAR
- 4 pubs
- willy has the gift of the gab and is a great bar man
- The "STAR" or "THE CUTTY SARK" as its called now,is the"HIGH"place to go these days,a very good"FRESH FACED"crowd. No atmosphere but well attended anyway. The SALLY,Gordon got a smack from Wayne.Bowt time someone did that, and the QUEENS,looks like BUNTER could be the new MINE HOST!
- Cutty sark
The sally -
dont bother with the Queens they dont even have scooshie coke/lemonade. Staff are rude too, plus juke box is soooo old it only takes old 50ps.
- The sally is a miserable place, old gordy meldrum is a village idiot
- Cutty Sark - New pub in the village. Good atmosphere, nice decor and good food.
Sally - always been the favourite, still good but struggling now with the Cutty.
Crown - Small bar but welcoming & good beer, food in lounge and uptairs.
Queens - Forget it!
- Queens - perfect for the over seventies, or the man who likes the older woman!
Crown - not enough room to swing a cat
Sally - fresh faced and up to the minute crowd. Good music.
- The queens hotel - strictly not for the under 60s.
- the sally is where i get dwunk, with the gordon sally man
- get hammered and fall in to the sally
- You can go to the Sally and experience what it is like to known as an 'incomer'.Bervie locals don't like people who have not lived in Bervie their whole life or if your parents are not local.Prepare your boxing gloves these people are thick and wanting to ficht!!
