- The Garden for the best meal in town(chinese),bonani(indian), Strathburn,Ardennan & KA (traditional) and the Ashvale (fish) are the best of the rest.

- Nazma Tandoori is good if your into Indian/Banglashei otherwise go into Aberdeen.
- Alldays does a good line in crisps. Otherwise try the Indian takeaway in the High Street, it actually is good, really good!
- Tastie Bite, a fine burger. The Ashvale, a fine fish supper. Porto Rico's, the best pizzas in the whole of Inverurie, or the Port!
- Safeways to open soon [summer '96].
- Kintore Arms under new management. Reasonable High Teas.
