  • Ipswich is the home of Jungle. Yes, the original Junglist scene was Ipswich. LTJ Bukem and other Jungle DJs came from Ipswich. (Jungle being a form of dance music - drum and bass and all that. Thankyou Howard.)
  • Val Lehman- she of B Smith fame from prisoner cell block h Griff Rhys Jones lives just outside of town and can sometimes be spotted on the mainline train from london, he is just the funniest man you could meet if you do.
  • Giles - as in he of the famous cartoon strips and immortalised in some kind of green sculpture at the junction of Queen Street & Princes Street.
