Cafes and Coffee Shops
- English women are snob bitches
- best coffee shop. neros on junction of northgate street
- I visited Jacks cafe in Hadleigh rd, and i must say it was excellent, we gotloads of food and it is a really good price, the staff were friendlyand my kids ate it which was amazing. Brill
- Cafe Nero's, Best coffee, best service, best management. love it!
- Caffe Nero is very cosmopolitan but be wary of sticky tables when it's busy.
- Mannings...nice beer as well.
- Subway in Queen St is good - much healthier and cleaner than BK or McD.
- There is now a star bucks!! And there are some lovely new places down St Peter's street.
- Vagabonds which is opposite Giles Tavern is fantastic - a beautiful interior, artwork on the walls, V reasonable prices, smoking area, friendly staff and always someone to talk to!
- costa!! phat for hot chocolate with whipped cream and marshmellos
- I LOVE The Cheesecake Shop in Queen Street. No good for the waistline though.
- Costa all the way, or maybe vagabonds... or cafe nero..
- Bleands on the Buttermarket stretch, it's pricey but lovely to sit outside on a sunny day, good quality service too.
- Vagabonds! Mmm, lovely bagels and smoothies. More atmosphere than all the chains we now have- Costa, Nero etc.
- Costa Coffe is deff the place to hang out, its cool, relaxed and sells great coffe.
- Vagabonds offers a chilled atmosphere and friendly custom. A favourite haunt since my early teens it truely is the place to be. However bring back the old days when open late at night....and prices have severely inflated. It also shuts at a mere 5pm which means transferring to costa for another hour of sipping hot chocolate.
- The one in the buttermarket is really good
- Vagabonds is the bestest. Yummy smoothies, bagels, coffee, cakes and so forth and open late Thursdays (the only cafe that opens late in the whole bloody town!) Then there's Costa and Cafe Nero. Expensive but somfy (although always very cold inside Costa due to over-air-conditioning)
- Costa! I love costa.
- enjoy (Llyods avenue) makes tasty panninis
vagabonds is also good...try the little deli france for nifty mochas
- TOOOOOO many cafes and coffee shops to mention.Pretty much all very similar multi national chains. Vagabonds used to be nice before they refurbished it.
- vagabonds is a great place to chill out with mates,it's good value for money better than costa around the corner.
- Costa - nice Brownies
- eat at joes coffee n cakes
- Call me old-fashioned - but Violets Tea Rooms (behind the Town Hall) is a MUST for cake fiends! All home made - lush!!
- Vagabond's - open til about 1am on Friday's and Saturday's. Good malted chocolate shakes!
Costa Coffee - nice. Expensive. But nice.
- costa coffe is cool, so is vagabonds
- Vagabonds, nice and friendly, losing in the war against Costa's, but its the better of the 2!
- Nice coffee shop on the Buttermarket.
- Vagabonds is fairly pricey but you can sit for ages and have a good natter.
- Best place to be for coffee : Great White Horse Hotel. Seems to be posh but really nice and not too expensive.
- Vagabonds is pretty trendy, and they serve some mean nachos.
- Vagabonds is the best to my expereince. reasonably priced, good music. Friendly atmosphere. wide range of clientellr, from students to bussnessmen. Rather uncomfortable seating however.
- Best greasy spoon is Kesgrave Kitchen, three miles or so out of town on the road towards Woodbridge. If you've had a better fry-up I'd like to know where. Also good is Neptune Arcade Cafe. Jack's Cafe is rubbish.
