The Stuff We Can't Fit In Somewhere Else
  • Ivan Mulley SUN ALLIANCE FILING ROOM PIG-PIG,this swine told me I was not good enough for a nice attractive well spoken woman-He said I was S--T
  • The PIGS in Ipswich decided I was not good enough for a nice elegant lady but deserved a slobby low class pig off a factory floor whose every other word was bleedin this or bleedin that.Do you know what?,English girls & women can go to hell,Ivan Mulley of sun Alliance infamy can go to hell, the Amberstone books, horror, snob shop can go to hell, the British class system can go to hell,England can go to hell,English women are sluts & trollops.
  • Sun Alliance was a disgusting hole back in the 1980s.Boorish,primitive,evil people & would be "bully boys" like IVAN MULLEY & JEALOUS PETER GAUSDEN in the filing room down in the "coal face" as the nasty little man called it.
  • dont go near the town steps there are goths about
  • I have seen Ipswich in a different light since becomming a mum!
  • I am part of a group called "Roraract". We are 18 - 30 and socialise in the Ipswich area. We meet on Tuesday evenings and also help out at local events e.g., Martlesham village day 10.07.04 and Aldeburgh festival of light. Try looking up rotaract on www for details
  • I think he was way to harsh on garys and sharons we make ipswich have something to be proud of the only nice thing about it is the cars racin round aint causin no trouble we all look good. dont hate us just cos we have nice cars we r nice people come have a chat with us and come on a cruise.
  • A big way to find where you are in Ipswich is to note how far you are from the HUGE black building, acts like a mirror.
  • if you get a chance go and see....no routine (local band with fit fit lead singer and hella funny bassist) buffalo love child (ditto but slightly more well known) seated youth..minority...also whoever's at the dru and monkey
  • You can tell how dangerous a person is by the incline of the peak on their cap. "If its high they're a bad guy, if it's low they're a regular joe".
  • I have found two medallions in a church in Quieensland from St Margarets in Ipswich, they are 17th century, who sent them ????
  • Please note Ipswich is no longer airborne i.e. parachuting & skydiving not recommended due to houses now built on airfield
  • The gent in the homborg hat with the voice is a popular retired local engineering worker Please don't mistake unbridled free speech for psychotic diatribes, or resident eccentrics for the unfortunately disorientated Nowhere do folks care Thanks
  • xsfaqheytrjkmukydetemtlyi!!
  • Be afraid, be very afraid..... THE WAXWORK OF BODICEA AT THE IPSWICH MUSEUM
  • Ipswich has a great little Athletics club with aspirations for getting bigger! See their website at http://members.tripod.co.uk/ipswichharriers
  • I'd just like to say that I was born in Ipswich and I'm hurt but extremely amused by the things I have just read, I moved away when I was 12 and maybe you all think I was blessed but I lost my roots & some really good down to earth friends. People that were real, that I haven't found again since. Ipswich people were truthful, whether you liked it or not at least it was the genuine.
  • Dicso PHAZE ROADSHOW (01473) 601793/730659 The best mobile disco in the east anglia area Chart, Club Music All sounds are cd beat mixed by ex night club d.j's So if you like it loud and proud phaze is well worth booking for your pub club or party.
  • Want to remember how to spell it? Try:I Put Some Water In Charlie's Hat. Get it?
  • Don't forget that Ipswich is the home of the Suffolk School of Samba (as seen on (Anglia) TV) Thursday nights 8-10 at the Caribbean Club (ICA) Woodbridge Road, for a good bash and a few pints.
  • Ipswich is a great little town. When I was there a pub called Blades was very popular, and a nightclub named Cinderallas. I would very much like to contact someone the on the web. I've lost contact with all of those great peop;e and would like to re-establish contact, and make arrangements to visit. If you can help me I would very much appreciate it. JJGRIER@aol.com
  • Kickboxing - Millennium Kickboxing Club run classes at Downing primary School Tuesday nights 8pm , Brittania rd primary school Thursdays 7pm and suffolk college gym Thurdays 1pm ..
  • Laser Quest: Open 7 days a week, prices from £2.50. Try it, you'll like it!
  • Apparently Ipswich is one of the best places in the country for skydiving and parachuting.
  • Ipswich to an outsider is, well not a lot really - the history is rather outstanding even for England, but there isn't a lot to show for it - The Ancient House, Christchurch Mansion, the churches and a few once proud timber-framed buildings - that's it - the rest have made way to awe-inspiring concrete blocks.
  • The people? well it takes time to be accepted in Ipswich - it hasn't the easy-going nature of a Northern town - people are wary of 'foreigners' (that's anyone south of Capel St Mary) - but once you're in, and they get a few drinks down them, you'll find them quite a hospitable bunch really.
  • I have spent 21 years in Ipswich. Yes, I am a native. One thing I think you should now about the town, the people are extremely friendly there are lots of different kinds of people. There are Americans from the local bases, and Indians, to name but a few. I spent 12 years in Ipswich schools and never heard any racial slurs. If there were any spoken the person would be severely punished by the head master. The police in Ipswich are always friendly and courteous to people. They never act as if they have to keep their guard up at all times. Also, the fact that firearms are illegal in Britain also makes Ipswich a better city. Overall, Ipswich is a good place to raise children and to feel safe and secure. It is not a large city, hence it can not offer what large cities (Nottingham, Norwich, Peterborough) can offer. But then again it does not have the problems that afflict larger cities.
  • Good things: you can pretend your somewhere else if you close your eyes.
  • Bad Things: You're still in Ipswich when you open your eyes.
  • I have lived here all my life (40yrs) it's not a bad gaff but I was working something out the other day: I was born in Broomhill Road (right near the best open air pool I know) and I have never ever lived further than 1.5 miles away. Sad, very sad, extremly sad, oh what a sad case I am.
