- One thing about Jersey, in particular, St.Helier, is that all of our hotels are independant. You'll find no Hiltons here. On this note, however, you'd be hard-pressed to find a hotel that will be cheap. This is the curse of a tourism-dependant island. The main ones in the town are the Royal, which is near St.Marks church. The Grand Hotel (which isn't that grand) overlooking the seafront (not to be be confused with the waterfront further up) and the Royal Yacht, which since doing up its general appearance has also upped its prices.
What you wont find much of in St.Helier is B'n'Bs unfortunatly.
There are more than a few cheap and cheerful B'n'Bs further up in St.Aubins however, which are good if you need a place to stay while looking for something more permanant.
