• If budget is in the cards, then you can't go far wrong by taking a stroll around the market (the big red metal structure down from Westcenter) which boasts many cheap but decent food places. Theres a few places where you can sit to grab a bit, but just as many places where you order over the counter and go. The market sells pretty much everything, from italian food, to country home-cooked meals. Theres something for everyone in the market and I recommend going here for all your foody needs.

• The WaterSplash in St. Ouens Bay, fantastic food, great prices on food and wine, views a must. Live Bands on Sunday nights, a great place to chill and relax on those summer and winter weekends. Last food orders at 8.30pm
• McDonalds, St Helier. KFC, The Waterfront Complex, St Helier
• The new KFC and Pizza Hut at the Waterfont r brilliant
• Big verns in St ouen on the five mile road is a bit out of the way but deffinetly worth a visit. Large portions at fair prices, I go every week.
• La Gondala on Hill Street, cheap, good value and always lively.

• Go to the City bar and resaurant for Internet access. It's £2 per half hour or free with a meal.
• The Viceroy in St Helier. Superb Indian food and being a Brummie, I did feel home sick at times. Ask for mullett-sporting Sam, lovely bloke, and tell him Ryan from Birmingham sent you.
• There is a good restaurant: The City where you can use the internet. A keyboard is provided at your table. Internet use is free with a meal. There is also an internet cafe opposite Sand Street car park in St Helier which has just opened and of course St Helier library has five computers on which internet access can be booked.
• The Biga Restaurant does Tex-Mex food and is excellent value - and the cocktails are excellent - try the Giggle Juice.
• Simply the best, with a huge range of styles found in the Island. Especialy good food found at Bistro Centrale, Bistro Rocque (both a la carte), Bamboo Garden (Chinese) and Rudees Thai Diner.
• Yeah, food's good .. And there are oodles of restaurants .. most set menus being around £12:00
