- If you think musical instruments then you have to think Island Music. Here you will find pretty much everything your after. They tend to specialise in Pianos and music books, but they also have a wide range of drum kits, guitars both electric and acoustic as well as having a selection of brass and wind instruments. Located right on the corner of Miden Place car park it's easy to find.
Theres also a shop that soley specialises in electric guitars and some acoustic, which is opposite the Town Hall.

- There are two decent music shops in town; Ray Kitchen music and East coast music. Ray Kitchen deals mostly with percussion instruments, and East coast sells mostly guitars and keyboards.
