The place to go for a lazy afternoon, pub quiz or last call
You can tell us more about Jersey Saint Helier.
Pubs
- St.Helier has never been accused of lacking a drinking hole, and this would be a true statement. There are as many pubs in St.Helier as there are grains of sand on St.Aubins beach.
A few to name are, the Lamplighter, the Corinthian, The Royal Yacht Club (not as pretentious as it sounds). All of those are all located on the same stretch of road as Chambers. There are so many in town that it would take ages to list them all and I'm certain you couldn't be bothered to read them all.
Suffice to say that should you find yourself strolling around town, you would not be hard-pressed to find a pub to wet your whistle.
- George bush says alcohol is evil so iv given up
- toddys bar in ann street was top pub when lollipop ran it 1996-1998.
- The Admiral is a good bet if you are young. Sells Stella!!!
- the splash, st ouens. chambers has the longest bar in the island!
- Chambers is large and plays great live music, Babylon is a good pre-Follies pub and the Welly is a great local pub with cheap drinks.
- check out the tivoli tavern, after my last visit i had the chance to the the infamous tiv army, bunch of nutters, but very nice blokes still the same.
- In town - All Sports Bar is good for a look at the fashion worn by nubile women. But it gets so packed it's a pain. Cock and Bottle is good in the summer, when drinking outside is a must. The Original Wine Bar does a good line in flavoured vodkas.
- The place is full of them! With no VAT the price of beer and spirits is low. Some of the busiest Pubs include Chambers, Rumours, The Admiral, Idols and the Tipsy Toad Townhouse. Out of town check out the Goose on the Green, the New Star and the Old Portlet Inn.
- Squires, Churchills, Warehouse/Rumours, Chambers, All Sports Bar (no football shirts allowed)
