The Stuff We Can't Fit In Somewhere Else
  • Jersey is great for taking pictures of its massive population of fat people, LOVE IT
  • The Green Lanes and Cycle routes are great. You can get an easy to read map from Jersey Tourism in St Helier which shows all the bicycle routes you can follow. I've done a few and although I'm local I still really enjoyed it and yes shockingly I even went down a few roads I had never been down before. Zebra Hire close to the bus depot is good for renting bikes, they have a website too so you can check prices etc.
  • Id just like to remind all those people who slag off jersey that jealously really is a hideous feature. Us "tax dodgers" work hard and play hard. If you dont like it dont come.
  • meat is bad, Mickel Jackson is innocent
  • By the way, its 'St. Helier' not Saint Helier. No one calls is Saint Helier, being that it is a parish (minore version of city) rather than a person ...
  • Please get rid of the metal rareunit ramps, they went years ago!!! Skatewest closed about 8-9years ago!!! Please get rid of stuff in Gorey, it;s really not worth putting in+.
  • its costs a fortune to get here and apart from the scenery the only reason people come over here is cause its warm and english, whereas france is full of the french.... such a shame!
  • I am from Birmingham and have just returned home after working there for a couple of years. The locals or 'beans' as they are known will have a wonderful penchant for taking the piss and laugh in your face the second you mispronounce something. So here is Ryan's guide to Jersey pronunciation. Quennevais is pronounced 'Kenna Vay', St Brelades is St Brelards, St Ouen is St Wons. And as for surnames Le Maistre is 'Le Maitch' and De Ste Croix is 'De sanqua'. Hopefully that will prevent teams of 5 foot 4 inch local blokes guffawing into their Mary Ann Special at Chambers.
  • Don't ever go there! Save yourself, my children
