- Downers the newsagent now closed, but mags etc. available from well-refurbished Checkers (ex-Stampers) store.
- Downer Ltd. Situated opposite the Police Station (Harbour). Sells the usual range of standard newsagent-y things and is also the local Post Office. They sell suntan stuff, hats & T Shirts etc. and also sell many magazines dedicated to surfing, windsurfing and the like.
