  • Garden Centre - there is a good Garden Centre @ La Haule - Lucas Bros.
  • There is a branch of NatWest Bank down by the Harbour.
  • There is an Antique shop - Boulevard Antiques - just along the road from the Cassiano Restaurant.
  • There is also another interiors shop - Renior Interiors - next to Boulevard Antiques.
  • There are several Churches: Catholic, C of E and Methodist.
  • The local Taxi firm - Turners (499499) is on the front.
  • Car Hire: Easily available at reasonable prices. Although there is a Car Hire shop in St. Aubin, I would recommend POLAR, who are @ Beaumont (Tel - 24577), which is just down the road.
  • Bike Hire. Available at reasonable prices from various outlets all over Jersey.
  • Hotels & Guest Houses: In my humble opinion, the best Hotel for friendly, unhurried service et al. and excellent food and great view over the Bay is the HOTEL LA TOUR, in Rue de Croquet. Run by Vic & Sammy Gomes, you are ALWAYS made very welcome in this small (30 rooms) family-run Hotel. Their Restaurant (ROOKS) is excellent. Vic & Sammy can be contacted on 01534 43770 - give them a ring, even if just to book a meal in "Rooks". I have visited this particular Hotel at least once a year since 1991 and always had a great time - it feels like going home! Correction (June 97): there are now only 27 rooms available due to staff "living in". Virtually all have sea view - check before booking...
  • Also Hotels: Mont de la Rocque - good La Haule Manor - reportedly good, but never experienced. Guest Houses St. Magloire - High Street - very nice, friendly. Peterborough House - High Street - very nice, friendly.
  • There is a Launderette on the front.
  • There is a Chemist.
  • There is a Perfume, Jewellery and Hairdresser (etc.). shop, which also provides a sunbed service and the like. It is called Matisse - and is also on the front.
  • There is also another Hairdressers - Marlene's - next to Ker Francois.
  • The local supermarket is Stampers, which sells most things you could want. It is also on the front.
