Dancers from across the Globe will descend on Cheshire to compete at the 'UK Star Studded Championships held at Northwich Memorial Hall on the 1st,2nd & 3rd of August. This is the first time this venue will be used to hold this event, the Saturday evening includes a Modern Jive & West Coast Swing Freestyle. The competition for the first time will have a Modern Jive category, 'UK Modern Jive ProA m' Competition, and a 'Dance with a stranger' Competition. Hello all you in Johnshaven I am trying to trace details of my Grandparents who I never knew. All I have is Walter Freeman and Isabella Adam They were married in 1898 in Benholm. and I know Walter was a Salmon Fisher - he was d ead by the time my mother Mary Jane Adam Freeman was married in 1931. hi there! Visited your gorgeous wee villiage quite a few times now, there is only one place which is even more amazing, and that has to be your neighbouring Gourdon. Have tried to get info on it on the 'net. Can anyone help me to get any Gourdon links, I just cannot find anything - Johnshaven is the closest I could get to it!!
