Clubs (Dance Music) and Music Bars
- "Fully Booked" is a club themed around a Scottish hotel. Club owners DJ Stotty and Sarah Vandebergh regularly perfom their new version of 'Prince Charming' (Pingu Link Remix) with Vandenbergh dancing a bizarre avant garde version of the original dance. All of this is under the evil glare of an animatronic cow called Morag which spews Bacardi out of its nose. The bouncer 'Wee' Alistair (cruelly named after his bladder problem) is good fun and knowledgable on the following subjects: Spain, camera film (Kodac only) and milk adverts 1979-1989 (exluding production details of the Bob Geldof one)
- There is a club in neareby Chaffley called "The Randy Sailor", but you should really go to that site to read more.
- The only clubs nearby are visited by every young Keggers Hillian, which allows a bit of rumpy pumpy for their long suffering parents of a Friday night. Taking the no 18 bus will get you to "Yatners Knee" with no problems at all. This is frequented by 'club kids' who like to wear outrageous clothing and make up. It was opened by Japans David Sylvian in 1985 and has thus retained its New Romantic roots. Music played there reflects this. Only bands in which the lead singer at one time wore more eye make-up than Keith Corr are allowed to be played. Thus Duran Duran, Adam and the Ants, Spandau Ballet, Soft Cell, Japan, Culture Club, The Cure, Siouxie and the Banshees, Ultravox and T-Rex (not a New Romantic band, but certainly eye made up) are played regularly, whilst other bands like Dennis and the Din-Makers, Sofy Walter and The Biffo Bear Jazz Experience (all local bands)are not. If you are worried that they may have to stay in the music wilderness, be not afraid as they can get their music played in local shops like "Winklers Records" or "Keiths Cafe", okay? Happy?
