If you're around, be sure to check these things out
You can tell us more about Kendal.
The Best Things
- the teenagers and the underage drinkin and partys its ace drugs are as easy to get hold of as its is to buy fags and the chavs never really start
- Quiet, and beautiful. That is all.
- Kendal people - apart from those who have not lived anywhere else and dont appreciate what they have got
The new traffic system - at least someone had the balls to do somethng about the nightmare motorway that was Highgate and all those who slag it off seem to be unable to come up with anything better
The Parish Church by the River Kent - if you have to do weddings and funerals its not a bad place to go
- The People are very friendly and welcoming
- Access to hills and mountains near by, not a far drive to good biking in Scotland.
- All the bars, pubs and clubs. Its impossible to get round them all in one night. Or even in two.
- The hills.
The people.
The fact theres no multi storey buildings pumping out smoke.
Good old smell of cow muck!
- went to the george and dragon in kendal for a beer they had a karaoke on which is every thurday, its the best sound ive ever heaed not the usual karaoke rubbish you get . also the music played was upto date and the atmosphere was excellant
- Hot chicks, hot food, a rocking night out. Come to Kendal - it's well worth it!
- Hot chicks, hot food, a rocking night out. Come to Kendal - it's well worth it!
- Yard 5 nightclub, on the site of the former Jazz's nightclub
- Morrisons and it's Petrol Station are a great place to go for a laugh and bargain fest. John Wilding's car sales have the best looking staff I've ever seen. Samantha I love you, as if you couldn't tell.
- The road to Sedburgh
- The Kendal Bowman public house morning call. If you find yourself having to rest your weary bones whilst in Kendal and you need to arise early the next morning, the Kendal Bowman public house is the ideal place of accomodation for you! After having a nightcap in the bar below and retiring to your boudoire, you will find yourself being sharply awoken at 0400 hrs by the sound of the drunken landlady of the establishment attempting to kick the door of your room off its hindges. Far superior to any alarm clock currently on the market.
- don't have to go there very often and THE ROAD OUT!!!
- The river. The proximity to the lake district. Lots of nice places to leave it from.
- the people, the close-knit community
- MINT CAKE! the brown cake is nicer and sweeter than the white. Pure sugar - more energy than a ton of speed and surely a lot more healthy
- Drinking, drinking and ermm...
- Climbing Wall,weather
- Kendal pubs have a really good atmosphere.
Shopping in Kendal is getting better all the time (Next, Warehouse, Monsoon etc)
It's near the motorway so you can get out quick when you can't stand it any more!
Passion night club is better than Jazz's and the Park.
The alley's are good for shagging in as well as hiding from the pigs!!
- Loads of pubs. Ok nightlife.
- The pubs. Did You Know: you can stand on the roof of any pub in Kendal and see another pub from where you stand. You can do that in no other town in England.
- Proximity to the hills
Great people
Good shops
- The road out of the god dam place
- The mighty Black n Ambers of Kendal Rugby Club
- The pubs where you meet everyone you know, a common gound!!
- It's right next to the M6, so escape (at least by car) is easy They make mint cake and K shoes still
- Kendal mint cake, "k" (kendal) shoes
