• Aquatics, and the many charity shops have a surprisingly good range of clothes between them all.
• Next, Topshop,Monsoon,Peacocks,Burtons,Maelstrom,
• Topshops brilliant, but the girls that work in there (Topshop mathia) are stuck up!
• not much!!!!!!!! allsports keeps the chavs happy!!! love aquatics it's great you pay for the quality!!
• For the girls; Cavells is small but definitely worth a look.
• Surprisingly theres now loadsa clothes shops n the numbers r still increasin.
• ChinaStyles on Stricklandgate is really cool
• hmm... topshop? its pretty small and pretty lame. if youre loaded then switch survival and aquatic sports are good places for skating gear and generally very nice clothes
• Exile Tones on Highgate Bank is pretty cool. Very 80's and retro!!
• FOR WOMEN: Next, Monsoon, Evans, Topshop. MEN: Burtons, Next, Maelstrom, Icon, AllSports. There's more but I can't be arsed.
• Theres a great womens clothes boutique in Kendal. Near the Town Hall and Booths supermarket. Really nice labels and they have a great sale section. Probably the best independent shop in the area!!!

• The quality of the charity shops is in serious decline as idiots with second hand clothes shops pick up anything decent and sell it on for three times the price. Scope is the best, Oxfam is pretty rubbish. The Age Concern Warehouse is a well kept secret where you can pick up a Daks suit for a tenner.
• There's only Cavells that i'd but anything from.
• Warehouse, Beales, Dorothy Perkins, Viper (Blackhall yard), Hiccups and NewLook. However, we are getting a Topshop soon!! wah hey.
• the all - new TOPSHOP!!!!! What the town has been waiting for, surely ?????????
• Burtons, Next, Various others...
• It doesn't matter what you're after, Kendal won't have it in yopur size,chosen colour or style. Try Lancaster, better still, save all the hassle and go to Manchester. (If you can stand all those people.)
• There are no decent clothes shops in Kendal, New Look and Dotty P's, that's about it.
• the same high street corporate shite as everywhere else, except for david kerrs, very smart designer suit shop.
• Quite a poor selection. Don't come here looking for men's clothes. Burton's is about the only decent place. Maelstrom has stupidly cheap, quite bad clothes.
• Cavells - a must for trendy gear
