• passions but if you like chavs touching your girlfriends ass all night then go but your best bet is the live music bars
• Passions Kendal! Finally going somewhere with INSOMNIA a night of Bouncy house, scouse and clubland and guess what....there will be a set of technics for the dj's! no more now cd's! Friday 4th july 11-3

• Passions has to be the scabbiest club in the whole of Britain - even some of the dumps in Newquay are better than this whole. Costs an absolute bomb and its just full of 40yr olds with nothing better to do than get leathered, have a fat and pull one of the fat locals. Lizard lounge - quality bar, some say too small but I like the fact its not massive and the DJ's are really good playing a mix of house, drum 'n' bass and techno. Drinks are fairly expensive but definitely worth a visit. Bootleggers - Great spot for a few drinks whilst listening to live bands usually playing covers. Is absolutely packed on a Saturday night but only costs £1 entry so take a visit.

• Lounge Lizard, a great place for a bit of alternate music, drum an bass, and all other sorts of strange dj'd music!

• erm... at the mo, places like Sphere and Idols/Passion, the DJ's will play most things, either downstairs or upstairs, all you have to do is ask, upstairs tend to be R'n'B and dance, with downstairs being more retro and indie but ask to get your tune on
• Passions is defo the best spot you wana be at the weekend, Except for 'FAT BASTARD' (The bouncer on the door!)

• Big up the magic nightlife in Passion! (Pashwan!!) The one and only place worth going to in Kendal (yeah it is the only club) but its also such a great place to be seen?!
• Pashwans (passions) is the centre of a night out in Kendal! Good for a fight or to pick up a lady (or fella). The music is mostly commercial dance on the main dancefloor. Downstairs is best tho they play all the classics!
• For a great saturday night in Kendal go to Bootleggers (before 11 so you dont have to pay) to get into the dancing mood then move on to Passion about 11:30, when its usually full. And dance the night away.
• Well.... don't forget where you are, and take a deep breath before venturing out! Pubs are very old man style, often with a cheap DJ shoved in the corner to attract younger people. Tinto's is probably the best if you like good dance music (BRING BACK DJ CRAIG!), Nexus is a really cheapo venue, and shouldn't really be called a club. Passion is a disgrace. If you like your fat old men "DJing" (Or just playing his latest Clubland album) and want to waste a lot of money, then get queuing there! On 3 dirty floors, plus the Idols sports bar on the ground floor (If you like too many TV's and lots of drunk 'Lads'... Severely up its own bum because it is the biggest club in kendal (still only a small place though). Mint is quite a good bar, and it opens till late most weekend nights. Its Quite funky looking, and has a few different DJ's with a good sound setup. Plus its the only chance you'll get of finding a decent cocktail.
• Never go to nexus! bt otherwise try anywhere passions is always good for a laugh and so is tintos!

• Passions, A rip off, £3.00 on a friday ONLY if you buy a drink in IDOLS before so then it adds upto about £5.50!! The bouncer is a ponce, his eyes are wonkey and he thinks he is as hard as george bush on speed!!! the club is on three levels, The bottom is for 80's early 90's music, The middle is the main bar & the top floor is the main dance stage (which is on springs to handle more ppl than it was made for so if there are alot of ppl on. it will move from side to side!!! The unfortunate DJ has his both surrounded by GIANT PINK LIPS!!! Don't believe what other ppl say about TINTO's it is a very good venue and so is its sister venue, MINT. Yard 5 is now closed!!
• Just to let everyone know, Passions has a ridiculous rule banning white footwear...What a joke..you queue for an hour just to find they wont let you in. This rule isnt displayed outside the club....come on Passions move into the 20th century..!!!!!
• Alley Cats has always been a favourite of mine. You may stick to the Axminster but it's well worth it. Plus the mirrors around the dancefloor let you check out how fly you really are!!

• Try the new club 'Yard 5' on the site of the old 'Jazz's' club. Best DJ i've ever seen!
• Passion Nightclub (not Passions, read the sign fools) is the only place worth bothering with. Jazz's was a seedy, dirty, sleazy shathole full of 14yr olds and townies on crack, it couldn't have been shut-down sooner. Tinto's plays god awful music but that's the only fault there. It's a kewl place.
• Passion is the only real club in Kendal, although Nexus n Tinto's try, for a laugh gotta b Nexus free an funny as out! But a proper night out is always passion!
• Cutting a rug in either the Ribble 72 or Ivy Leaf is quite simply the best. Queens is great for meals in baskets.

• PASSION!! Quite literally 'the' only place to go. Jazzs has shut down- after a fire but will be re-opening sometime and re-named LA9 (after the Kendal postcode). There's Tintos, which isn't a club but does stay open till 1:30am, pretty good music. Finally there's Nexus (formerly Chaplins), next to George and Dragon. Always packed on a Saturday night- cheesy music.
• Clubs are incredibly poor. Passion is kind of OK but because they're the biggest club in Kendal, they seem to think they're the biggest in Britain. They have a far too in depth dress code as well as the most annoying bouncer ever, locals will know who I mean. Jazz's is rough as hell but a good laugh. That's about it.
• Tinto at the weekend- Good dance/trance no charge on the door before 11pm after that its a coulpa quid. Bottles and shots only , only a few muppets in here, unlike the other clubs in town.

• all clubs in kendal r shite and 20 years behind the times, chrome,mirrors and athena prints in plastic frames abound. men must wear trousers and shoes, girls short skirts to show off their hideous cornbeef kendalian legs.
• 3 clubs basically: Passion- Great but expensive. Jazz's- Not too bad, a bit small. Chaplin's: Small but fun, free if you get there early enough.
• Passion is by far the finest club in Kendal, it has everything you need, accept brilliant music. Jazz's isn't terrible but forget about Chaplin's.

• Passion (commonly pronounced Passions) 3 different rooms empty on Friday nights always a good fight on a Saturday
• The Park - Saturdays are for anthemic, uplifting house music tinged with a little trance. Great crowd, always well up for a laugh.
• The Park Stay out of Jazz's, its a dump and the toilets are connected to the beer pumps.
• 'The Park' off Parkside Road. Well known for fights.
• There used to be a good Night Club up on Parkside Rd at Netherfield FC.
