• they all closed but if yew want mainstream shit go to woolworths of whsmiths
• None at all, bout an hours drive to a decent one...
• Circa records usually has a decent selection of songs.. Music choice tends to sell oldish albums at discount prices but also cheap DVD's and games
• There's a music zone, circa records and thats it.
• music zone, the old MVC, same staff and music, different stickers and sign!
• Theres a music zone (replaced MVC) and there is also Circa records for more specialist cd's, and old records.
• Sadly Dalys and Smyths are no more. Not so sadly Our Price isn't either. The only independent record shop now in Kendal is Circa Records, Yard 39, Highgate (down by the back of Burgundys Wine Bar) well worth the venture off the main street with suprisingly cheap new and used CDs and rare vinyl. Shop here before we lose this one too!
• circa. Great record shop and good if you want info on local bands and gigs.
• If You want to buy music, you need to use your computer and download! there is a Woolworths that sells a limited selection of singles and albums (go early monday when new release singles are 1.99), and an MVC (Owned by Woolworths, and therefore very similar, just more selection of albums really.) No Independant record shops at the moment.

• MVC is cool
• circa's a good place for local band's music and its a god way to support your mates ambitions
• err MVC does about 4 vinyl's but thats about it
• Daly's and Smyth's have a diverse and eclectic mix of hot trax.
• MVC - the only place worth bothering with. Morrisons Petrol Station also sell a selection of top-selling DVD's and CD's that are often sold out in the Morrisons store.
• MVC is reasonable, but you're better off going to the library and buying things off the internet.
• Nothing specail here, just the usual- woolies, our price, mvc and whsmiths.
• MVC biggish store- good music, dvd's, videos etc

• Try MVC in Elephant Yard or Our Price.
• MVC are good but check out Woolies and Ourprice for that much sort after bargain.
