My Mother was born and raised in Lanfranc Street but I casnnot find any Photos anywhere.

    No I didnt get any replies. My Mother was born 27 Lanfranc Street 1919 and when her Father died was looked after by "Granny Hickey" while her Mother worked. Grannys Daughter and Grandaughter were later to attend the Wedding of my Mother and Father. other names Mum mentioned were the Connells.     Sorry I can't help you but you may be able to help me.I believe my Grandfather lived at 29 Lanfranc street. Can't verify it yet though. This would have been in 1940 which is obviously much later. His name was Thomas Quinn, an Irishman, he died at Charing Cross station during the blitz. He was 63 when he died. If you are able to help would be much appreciated.     my mothers family name was (bond) was born no4 lanfranc st 1916 then later moved to no 38,I believe they were at third number,but cant think of it.
    I have a photo of my mother and brother & friend you can see the buildings both sides and behind,it gives you an idea what the street looked like.

    Hi Dave would love to see the housing in Lanfranc Street was also called Frances Street at some point. Another was Pearman Street where they later moved to.
