- the kensington in russell gardens w14 and the crown and sceptre in w14 both under new management and pretty good
- Southside bar, dingy underground but home
- watch out for the rat & parrot in glouster road. we've seen many mice in there and there are traps down behind radiators etc
if you can get away with it, imperial college union does £1.40 pints! woohoo! if you go in before 8 they normally don't ask for union cards
- no pub here...this place wont allow them...oitherwise there will be too may common ppl here!!!
- THE BUILDERS - tucked around the back (near Wodka's) is full of Australian's and Charlies/Samathas/Abagails from the Pru Leith cooekery school next door. THE GREYHOUND - do not go in. Terrible in everyway. Bad service, bad drinks, bad atmosphere. THE ELEPHANT behind the highstreet on the north side. nice but often very busy
- Elephant&Castle is a small and rather calm pub, which is very nicely situated in Holland Street, with a cosy-looking outdoor area in summer. In Kensington Church Street there are some other nice, more crowded, ones.
