The Best Things
- Drizzley mornings if you're out early walking dogs along the lake shore when no one else is up yet, beautiful and grey. Also if it's not drizzling but no one else is up yet, just get up early and you'll see!
- Getting out on the lake in an evening when its sunny and not to busy.
- summer nights by the lake
- James and Stuart are always the school kids fav
- everything
- In answer to one of the posts Ye Olde Friars now has a web-site, don't know if it's any good: www.friarsofkeswick.co.uk
- Getting Drunk down by the Lake in Summer when it stays light till about 10
- Jelly babies - and we've run out! Why does "Ye Olde Friars" NOT have a web site so that we can replenish our stocks betweeen visits to the Lake District!
- DOPE IN KESWICK SCHOOL - THAT SCHOOL REALLY DOES DESERVE AN OUTSTANDING SCHOOL AWARD FOR THE AMOUNT OF DRUGS THE PUPILS CAN TAKE DURING LESSONS!

- Despite it not being 'cool' it is possible to have a fun night out in Keswick.
The scenery ain't bad
- the a66, it takes u back out
- The lake. There was once a time you could sit on the jetty with all your mates having a drink and doing whatever you liked after the pubs had shut. You can't any more. The police will come and get you. Say hi to Stuntman's dad - he was on Law of the Lakes you know.
- The gathering of assorted hipies, freaks and cool people around the summer solstice, when there is always a gathering up at Castlerigg stonce circle (1 mile out of town)
- The Electric Shop, St. John Street.
- James and Stuart, good to look at and very very very very GOOD (if u know what we mean!!!!)Recognise them by there cute bums and sexy smiles.....
- The Hills, the Lakes, the views, the sheep(sheep!)
- Real ale festival, usually June. Beards, sandals and huge bellies mandatory. Also, the ability to hold your glass to the light and burble about specific gravity.
