Clubs (Dance Music) and Music Bars in Keswick, Cumbria*

Where to go to get down

You can tell us more about Keswick.

Clubs (Dance Music) and Music Bars
  • The Loft is a 'Night club'. Hmm.
  • Keswick now just has the one nightclub, after Starlights has unsuprisingly gone bust!
  • Clubs! What Clubs! If you can call starlights ( The 4th Worst night club in Britain) and The Loft NIght Clubs then we have 2! Go to Cockermouth or Workington there much better nights out
  • If you can call the loft and starlights clubs there's 2 in this wonderful town of ours! for a decent night out you have to leave Keswick!
  • Star shites is ok if ya half cut when ya get there not 2 expensive either any one can get in though and only bout 10% of people must be over 18!The loft is ok and quite a bit more ahead but still needs alot of work for it to catch up on the rest a the uks standards!
  • Ok, need an update here: now there's The Loft as a club. Different from Starlights in that it's been remodelled since 1976 and your shoes don't stick to the floor when you walk.
  • The Loft is allegedly half decent by Cumbria Standards. Off comers beware that cumbria's standards overall are very poor indeed so don't expact budding superstar dj's or cool tunes. Cumbrian clubs are usually nothing more than late night drinking spots. There was Starlights as well but last I heard this was under new management and about to be revamped. Starlights came fourth in a survey of the worst clubs in the UK - would have hated to see the three that were worse!!
  • The Loft plays good music on Thursday night when the gorgeous Lee Mills is there.
  • Two, Starlights, which is stuck in the eighties, and The Loft, which is at least in this century, but playing tunes a year behind civilisation
  • Hey, as well as starlights there's now a new club - the Loft. I've never been, but that's because you need to take out a second mortgage to get in the place. It's supposed to be better than Starlights though (however as many of my formative years were spent there, the place still holds very fond memories for me).
  • starshites THE shittest club in cumbria, possibly britain too.The Loft has just opened supposed to be alright(anythins better than starlights).
  • Starlights is rather a disappointment, as it was not open on New Years (the millenium) or any Saturday when I tried it!
  • Starlights (the only club in Keswick).
