- Whoever thinks the Theatre by the Lake is a bad building does not know theatre - it is one of the best small scale rep theatres in Britain with over 500 performances a year, (a feat matched by no-other company) - and one of the best equipped and designed I have ever worked at. Any issues with the exterior of the building can be laid firmly at the door of the National parks authority as it was they who dictated it`s look.

- The CO-OP. And the attatched laundrette and brunch bar. Also Windebrowe Avenue and Latrigg Close along with all the residents.
