• People are generally well mannered and polite. The town center is dying now Weavers Wharf is up and running and it won't be long before it is full of empty premises or tat shops.
• bowling alley in stourport 2 miles down the road. area full of caravan parks, well ruff area stay away if ya got any sense, it so ruff a man was found dead lyin on the polices station steps by the entrance, people cudnt guve a s**t about bein on cctv . often get asked if ya do drugs or if ya no any 1 who sells pills.
• first of all let me say i am not a resident of kidderminster, but have been to england, and my next trip there was to include liverpool and kiddy. why? the history, and i am robert plants biggest follower. I've tried to meet him in the states, but to no avail, so, i figured the next time im in england go to where he lives in the hopes of running into him...anyways, the reason i am writing is to say that i have read all the posts, the best, the worst, etc., and to tell you the truth it makes me not want to come there. i mean it can't be all that bad, but then i don't live there. i live in a small town called summerville. it is in south carolina, and i don't like it much, but i know i can find some good in it. reading the posts i have yet to hear one nice thing about your village. well, except for a post of the midevil history which was cool....i know it appears to be hard to live there, but maybe, just maybe, someone can see some good in kidderminster. i mean, hey, you do have the legend, robert plant living there...i would be in heaven to know he lived up the street from me. so, all i'm saying is try to look for the good, and if by chance you still can't find anything, then make something good happen...there is good in everything, if you just look for it. if it is such a hell on earth, why are people still living there?
• I went out with a girl from Kidderminster who played the violin. I dumped her when I realised that made her a 'kiddy fiddler'. Man, I impress myself sometimes!
• Having spent the last year living in god-forsaken Hatfield, I can now confirm that there are worse places to live than Kiddy. Also presented for your deliberation are Stourport, Stourbridge, and Hanly.
