- DON'T EVER GO TO KILNHURST CLUB ITS FULL OF DRUNKEN OLD MEN!!
IF YOU WANT SOME NIGHT LIFE GO TO CONISBROUGH (DON'T MISS THE LUNACY ON LAST FRIDAY OF EVERY MONTH)
- Terrace ( Polecat ) sadly closed and is now a residence ( almost )! Rock Tavern, if you are desperate for some watery ale and bad company.
- the rock tavern serves all the scum of the earth and opens after hours on saturdays
- Stay clear of the High House ( not really Kilnhurst though - more Swinton ) the landlord's managed to systematically get rid of all of the locals with his own slant on customer service, whilst the landlady ( who is a sight for sore eyes ) has the wit and charm of a rattle snake with a perm. Ship is ok and that's your lot really.
- Ship ok if you like the wax blasting out of your earholes on a Saturday night!
- Rock Tavern and the 'Club' for a game of snooker and the Ship for run of the
mill pub food.
- Kilnhurst Club - cheap beer and snooker
Rock Tavern - crap beer - crap atmosphere
- Polecat. Good home made grub but the beers a bit dear
Ship Inn. Nice pint but a bit small
Commercial. Shut due to lack of interest
Kilnhurst WMC. Cheap ale, good snooker table but a bit 1970,s
Rock Tavers. Terrible ale but a big pub with lounge & games room
