ANOTHER CASE OF THE COUNCIL AND POLICE FORCE TURNING THE OTHER CHHEK TO DRUGS AND PETTY CRIME - AND WORSE... IF YOU WANT MY ADVICE STAY CLEAR!
• Kilnhurst is surrounded by some lovely countryside and places of interest. There's Wentworth Village, Hoober Stand, Keppel's Column, Thrybergh Country Park, plenty of woods and walks. If you like fishing there's fish aplenty with a well-stocked lake on Hooton ( fee payable ) and the canal. Kilnhurst used to have a mining industry, which closed in the eighties I think. The site of the old pit has been transformed into several industrial units. Thomas Hill's a former major employer in the village has gone, they used to supply the rail industry.
• Kilnhurst is fast becoming the dump-it site for druggies and refugees. If you have any sense you'll go elsewhere for fun, a life and generally a good time!

• The only good thing about Kilnhurst is the walks out of the place - down by the side of the pit the river, canal, and over on Hooton Roberts. Also, the Red Hills over to Rawmarsh.

• The lads r ok lookin but most of em r immature ?/'@#*". The scooters round kilnhurst r everywhere n most kids on em r kids. The place is like a street compared 2 Rawmarsh n the lasses in Rawmarsh r miles better lookin than them in Kilnhurst even the ugly ones r nice.
