- Reffley
- Corn Exchange
- The fact it has a Train Station for easy access OUTTA the Town!
- Great parks, lots of input from local council,Lions club etc for FREE entertainment and nice surroundings, I have lived in places where the rubbish on the street is knee deep and the public areas are rubbish dumps, its pretty here.
- CHECK OUT THE LOCAL YOUNG BANDS AT THE 1ST "ROCKSCHOOL LIVE" TO BE HELD AT "ZOOTS" ON 27TH DEC 2005. "VANILLA POD" WILL BE HEADLINING. TEL IAIN 07850 700370 FOR MORE INFO. CHECKOUT WWW.ROCKSCHOOLLIVE.COM
- jjb mcd kfc mmmmmmmmmm kinky bikini shops pure
- Lots of green space, old buildings and very relaxed people. It's even getting more culture with immigrants from southern and eastern Europe.
- The local drivers, they will never wear their cars out with a self imposed speed limit everywhere of 27 mph.
- The local drivers, they will never wear their cars out with a self imposed speed limit everywhere of 27 mph.
- small punkrock skater culture
- Ummmm Gigs and ummm well there really isnt that much here
spend
- Good town centre for its size, some beautiful architecture, the surrounding area, pace of life (not too fast), cycle routes
- WELL £250 MILLION IS BEING PUMPED INTO THIS TOWN. WE'RE GETTING A STATE OF THE ART SHOPPING CENTRE. A MARINA, HOTEL, BUSINESS PARK ETC. A CLIMBING WALL, BMX AND SKATING PARK ET AL. SO THIS PLACE WILL BE EVEN BETTER THAN IT ALREADY IS.
- historical buildings, plenty to do
- You'll all be pleased to hear they've knocked down most of the crap 60s town centre in order to rebuild an equally rubbish new centre.
- I feel comfortable there
- the town may suck, but most of the poeple ere are alrite
- The A10 and A47 provide escape routes although because everyone is trying to get out there are often traffic jams
- The Road Out of Kings Lynn
- most things, i've never been involved in a fight, all those people saying that it's full of fight's are either lying or are the people starting them. yes there are fights but there usaully between people from the housing estates and they don't involve you unless you go looking for one.
- Beautiful ladies, top lads just up for a laugh not just a fight like most places ya visit.
- the A47 out of here.
- Henry Bellingham (Conservative) replaced the visiting temporary labour MP..
- in lynn? er.... ummm... well... im here
- Jenyns in Denver on a sunday night
Dr Thirstys
Lloyds No 1
Campbells
- All the locals hate the place but it really is a lot nicer than they make out mainly because they've never lived anywhere else to compare it with. Also generally very safe town to live in.
- The Walks, the view up the river Ouse towards The Point, Old Lynn with its cobbled streets, loads of beautiful buildings such as the Library, The Customs House and the Red Mount Chapel in the Walks. Most importantly, my family and the memories I have of the place where I grew up.
- Train Station - only 100 minutes to King's Cross
- George Turner lost his seat
- Unique...
- The attractive old buildings in Lynn in Nelson Street and King Street. Also, Tuesday Market place - the best town square in the country. (minus the car park in the middle).
- um....nope nuthing
- there arent alot of good things about lynn but its ok, once the bouncers get to know u, ul b fine.
- IT WAS HOME
- The Levellers played at the Cron Exchange once...
Oh, and the Local Brass band, something you cant miss!
- George (Turkey) Turner was seen for what he was, a total waste of space. Lynn bucked the national trend and chose a Conservative MP rather than have this self serving prat back in for another 4 years. He loved the camera and himself but did sod all for us.
- bacons scrapyard where you can sit in old cars dreaming of being a race driver (not me ) the shoestring barn. my mate ricki fairstead when i was little because all those little back allys are brilliant for playing hide and seek :)
- teenage memories! the walks!
- King's Lynn as a whole, you have to live here to understand
- The charm and character. I'm a displaced American who misses the beautiful buildings and charm of Lynn. South Wootton in particular.
- The maltings snooker club attracts a a lot of memebers but it is big and not a rough ganster plave and well furnished
- the public open green spaces/parks. they have a victorian feel and very pleasant. The 'Walks' is the main one, but there are other smaller ones that are a little hidden away.
It's very flat in King's Lynn. Ideal for the cyclist!
- Morrisons is comming, and I met my husband here. I have passed my driving test.
- The Walks and KLFC
- in life R free (in Lynn anyway)
- Not having any relatives that actually live there.
- In May 1997, North West Norfolk returned its first Labour MP for nearly thirty years - George Turner. He is a sound bloke - very new Labour - and much better than the last MP (a Tory who was a dead ringer for Mr Burns, Homer Simpson's boss!) If you live in his constituency, you can write to him at 78 Chapel Street, Kings Lynn, PE30 1EF or phone him on Kings Lynn (01553) 666111.
- You meet tons of othe cool skaters.
- Love to wald around the Tuesday Market, walk down the High Street, some of the old shops have gon, and new ones have taken there place, the feeling is still the same;
- Lots of shops, for the villages and towns from Hunstanton and all the way up the A149 it is the shopping place of choice, many amenities, swimming pool sports club, local football team (not very good but worth seeing as a laugh) Sainsbury's, Tesco's, etc... Large shopping centres just outside the town with big shops like Do it all, Texas... Kings Lynn has a lot of culture in it but a lot of weirdo's so be warned many kooky people emerge at night! The mart comes every year for the fun and bemusement of the locals!..........Have Fun!
- I don't live there. One day they'll knock it down.
- see loads of skaters around
- Nelson St
