• Karate club based at Wimbotsham Village Hall and the Howdale Community Centre (Downham Market), cardio kickboxing type of thing, with weapons, some slow stuff also, lots of street based self defence, youngish instructor. website www.norfolkkarate.co.uk

• Great sports facilities at Lynnsport, classes, gym, kids stuff etc. Pulse 8 fab new gym facilites, LA Fitness, Key to Fitness all worth checking out if you into being fit and healthy!

• Football ground, recreation group, tennis and basketball courts (courts under threat of removal in 2005/6) to be found in the Walks near the town centre. Swimming pool just over the road, next to new multi-storey. More tennis at KES on Gaywood Road. Other sports are nearly all at Lynnsport on the National Cycle Network Route 1, 1.5 miles north-east from the town centre.
• Lynn sports (filthy carpets) a brave attempt at a sports centre where the club foots can limp roung the Dow track.

• pretty much got it all Lynns special is the Speedway, the team does well
• LYNNSPORT HAS THE LOT. THE WALKS TENNIS AND BASKETBALL COURTS. K.LYNN SPORTS CENTRE. LOADS OF FITNESS PLACES IN TOWN LIKE L.A.FITNESS ETC.

• Top football leauges tuesday and wednesday astro turf 6-a-side. saturday serious stuff with competetive leagues, sunday the fun hung over stuff!!
• King Lynn Stars Speedway. Home to former Speedway World Champion Michael Lee.
• Lynnsport is a quality leisure facility, prob one of best things about Lynn. Knights Hill has a quality health & fitness club, but expensive to join.

• Hi ,Does anyone know of or play for the FLEGG CUP at Soccer ??? I played in a cup tie in 1946 for this cup against Kings Lynn Lads Club, Anyone remember Watts Naval School from Elmham Nr dereham ?? We lost 6-0, I put a penalty over the bar,Never mind we Whipped you on the sports field,, The K/L girls were nice as well !! I have never come across anyone who knows of the cup ,Any answers ??
