i can't remember who the headmaster was of the junior's school was at kingsthrone was when i left in 1976, but i remember Mrs Raven being the headmistress of the infact school.
i can also remember a mrs mason a first year junior school teacher, mr dors or doors cant remember the correct spelling of his name, but he was my form teacher in 1976 when i left, Mr Martin who class room was next to our classroom and who's class we always used to be in competition with. i recall having to walk from kingsthorne school going out of the cranbourne road entrance to kingstanding swimming baths which used to be on warren farm road near warren farm secondary school, the schools sport playing fields (or the ones the school used) used to be off tysoe road / burford road and kingstanding road about a one mile walk from the school (it seemed more like 5 miles away at that age ) where we had to walk to for football, cricket, and hockey for the girls practice.

Hi, I am trying to locate some family I have not seen in ten years. My nan and gandad lived on Twickenham Road 18 years ago they had three sons, anthony, frances, and MArk (Who is my dad and who Im looking for) and a daughter called Sarah. They all lived within the kingstanding arae and Sarah hasd two children, Bridgette and HArry. I am lisa 29 and have a brother called mark 26. I now have a daughter and would really like her to meet the other side of her family. I am trying to find anyone who lived near the Pheasey and Kingstanding during World War II. My grandmother a Miss Mary Burke had a baby girl in November 1945, and we know that the father (my grandfather) was an American based at the Pheasey, and that he was known as Chuck. I think that Mary Burke live on the Kings Road, and would have been around 14 to 20 years old during the war yeasr of 1939-1 945.
