The Stuff We Can't Fit In Somewhere Else
- I hestitate to describe myself as a "local hero", but Diabolus in Musica is now internationally known and respected in the classical music world, and we're based in Kingswinford. There's also a section on the Kingswinford area on our website, www.diabolus.org
- A lot of the stuff here is out of date - the MEB building in the precinct is no longer the MEB building for example. And anyone who thinks the Spinney is in Wallheath should be shot.
- Adulterers retreat
- free condoms and emergency contraception etc. are available at the local family planning clinic, Wordsley Green Health Centre. Wednesday evenings 6.30-8.30pm.
- Pirate Radio Station
Exile Radio the longest running pirate radio station known yet. The DJ's used to hang around in Harry's record shop (mentioned elsewhere) in the precinct. I even won a can of body spray in a competition once - it never arrived. I'm sure everyone listed to it at some time or another. I've even got the newspaper they apeared in.
- Why cant the Manor House on the corner of Moss Grove be redecorated and kept
in a decent state of repair? Its nothing but a disgrace to the Village.
- Calvary Church a place where people worship Jesus, our Lord and Savior, a HAPPY CLAPPY church, known to have had police visits due to excessive noise. The Holy Spirit rocks and rolls in there.
- The spinney is still there
- Some of the info on here relates to Wall Heath (i.e. Jenny's Kitchen, the flats on the precint, The Prince Albert, the Horse & Jockey, the WallHeath Tavern, ,Charlie's chinese restaurant)This is a separate town to Kingswinford and about 1.5 miles apart.
