Dancers from across the Globe will descend on Cheshire to compete at the 'UK Star Studded Championships held at Northwich Memorial Hall on the 1st,2nd & 3rd of August. This is the first time this venue will be used to hold this event, the Saturday evening includes a Modern Jive & West Coast Swing Freestyle. The competition for the first time will have a Modern Jive category, 'UK Modern Jive ProA m' Competition, and a 'Dance with a stranger' Competition. Hello, I'm looking for any news about my maternal grandfather, James Alexander Sharp. I have never met him, don't even know whether he's alive or not. He was born in Kintore on 08/03/1915. He moved to London, where he married my (Irish) grandmother Mary Sharp. They had three children; Douglas, Margaret (Bunty) and Eileen. Eileen, the youngest, is my mum and in her early sixties now. My grandpar ents seperated when my mother was still a toddler so she has no living memory of him. Any news, no matter what, welcome about James Alexander Sharp. Where he lived/lives, whether he married again, had any more children, alive or dead. If he is no longer alive, I'd love to know where he's burried. Would also like to know whether there are any relatives of my grandfather still living in the area. Looking forward to hearing from you and Thanks in advance for your reply. Have you! Seen any mysterious lights or strange objects in our skies lately? A non-profit making scientific research group requires serious reports. No one seemed to know what it could be, until someone pointed out that it was the SUN! Reply
