• Some pubs in kirkby are brillaint for entertainment. Like the first 10 in receive a free roast dinner in the Premier...at 10 in the morning. Same faces, same seats, every day. I once saw a girl batter a lad in the Molly because he put a quid in 'her' Gladiators fruity. Ive seen some sights, none worse than that L32. Its had more names than stray dog. The only place that Ive seen a woman in a wheelchair do the Maccarena. More bottles end up over heads than in the bin. A rough town with only a couple of places you could go to and not run the risk of losing a limb to one of the local 'Four Pint Fusiliers'.

• Some are good. Some are crap.Some of the clientelle look like they died years ago. You can go to Wetherspoons were the average age is 106, and u cant get to the bar for the 'war veterans', who having cashed their disability in the post office opposite, line the bar in their droves, cashing in on offers such as 40p a pint of local...."Chernobyl" Guest Bitter.
• Appauling. There is no other word to describe Kirkbys nightlife. This place is no Las Vegas. More like Las-t out of Ginos gets bottled.
• you must go to the Premiere pub in the townie on a tuesday night for their weekly quiz. the feller there has been doing the quiz that long the first one was in latin. a great night out for 50p (if you want to pay) the most funniest guy you can imagine. well worth a visit.
• Twelve Five Club. Great place with great people...And I'm not being biased coz I worked there.
• the fantail and the carters on a sunday night, bulters (the central) on a friday.
• I used to love the Mainy... was the place to be before going to Kirkby town, the 12/5 was always a laugh too, they had some good do's on in that place,And I must admit.. I loved to play Bingo.. then go out.. great pub at the bottom of the bingo ramp.. from gambling to drinking...ahh that was the life lol

• Fantail is rapidly becoming "the place to be" due to a football owner (see famous celebs!). Also there is Butlers (nee Gino's).
• Kingfisher is a laff on Karaoke nite! Through the week - swerve it!
• Best of the bunch is JD Wetherspoons - £1 a pint!!!
• Yes come along to our lovely pubs. We'll give you a lovely welcome like that Stephen Graham dude who played the hapless boxing promoter Tommy in Snatch. Not only did he get a black eye and bruising to his face but his father and fiancée got some minor injuries also.
