Allen Maddox by Paul Nash (Member 10209226) on 10-Jun-2007
I am doing research for a book on Allen Maddox who went to Brookfield High in 1960-62. In 1962 he and his family emigrated to New Zealand. I would like to hear from anyone who recalls him. I would also like to hear from anyone who recalls Bill Jones, an Art Teacher at Brookfield in this same period.

John Shackley by Paul Mason (Member 10193034) on 7-Sep-2006
It was interesting what I read about John Shackley (aka Will Parker 'The Tripods') being a resident of Kirkby.

Back in the 1980's I knew a Mr Shackley in Kirkby, but he looked nothing like the lad in the TV series (too old for one thing): Is anybody sure it was 'The Tripods' John Shackley who lived in Kirkby?
