- The view from the castle overlooking the gorge + river Nidd it's ace
- The Market Cross on New Years Eve
- Knaresborough is certainly not cool but it is a helluva lot better than Leeds or Bradford to live in.
- It's small, and so you can get away with anything in certain areas.

- Montey's will be the best thing, it's time knaresborough had a good bar with good drinks and great tunes, bring it on
- Nice in the summer, loads of pubs, the castle, boat trips on the river
- The Rowan Tree, on the High Street of Knaresborough, is absolutely magic!
- The best place to meet all your mates is at the market cross in the middle of town.
- Watching the Friday night Light show (Blues and Twos mainly!!)
- St Roberts Cave, Abbey Road, well worth a vist and much better than Mother Shiptons! (It's also free) St Robert lived here about 700 years ago and was a Christian who was recognised by many at the time as a holy man. Pilgrims came from all over Europe to seek his counsel and to ask him to pray for them. Many miraculous healings are attributed to him. Even King John is reputed to have visited him here. It is only a small cave and perfectly safe to explore but it is unlit so bring a torch if you visit.
